VOD UI lag

When watching VODs, the entire video UI becomes extremely laggy — including the pause button, video controls, and any interactions with the player.
As soon as the script is disabled, everything works smoothly again, so it seems directly related to the script’s behavior while running on VOD pages.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Enable script.

2. Open any VOD.

3. Try interacting with the video UI (pause, timeline, settings, etc.).

There was a request previously to remove the script from the videos url but it was closed due what was mentioned here #251 (comment)

I'm not sure which script you're using but can you try commenting out parts of the script until the lag goes away.

Maybe try putting a return statement at the top of this function:

If that doesn't work could you try commenting out this:

I've never ran into this issue myself so you'll need to do a bit of experimenting to find out what is causing the lag.
