Ads need revisit due to Twitch side updates

Looks like ads are coming through again as of today. Might be only certain types as intermittently it is working.

I'm using the vaft script and I'm not getting any ads, but it does buffer for several seconds while it's blocking the midroll ads. If you're not using vaft, give it a shot.

Same here. Freezes on mid roll ads but pausing and unpausing fixes it and sometimes just waiting few seconds or minutes it starts playing again. But ads seem to be blocked off it's Vaft and I'm using tamper monkey on Edge browser

Nope you are not. Took about a day or two but they are now coming through lol.

UPDATE: After restarting my browser twice and on the third time, I closed the twitch tab then closed browser and mid roll ads are being blocked again with the message in top left corner.

Are you using uBlock Origin to apply the script? If so that might be the issue. From the README:

The scripts may randomly stop being applied by uBlock Origin for unknown reasons (#200). It's recommended to use the userscript versions instead.

I got no ads coming through yet. I however, do get a lot of buffers, sometimes for a few seconds other times I need the pause and then subsequently unpause the player for it to work again. It's random really, whenever it exhibits this behaviour.

Vaft userscript still works for me in Firefox and Safari, albeit with occasional buffering and player reloads as expected.

I'm running the vaft permalink through uBO on Firefox. As I said before, I can confirm I'm getting the buffering issue on midroll ads. It seems inconsistent to me, only happening every so often. The pause/play fixes it until the next midroll. I'm assuming something updated on Twitch, possibly with this new Roblox push they're doing, as my BTTV extension has also had a few bugs that started around the same time.

@ryanbr It's working for me, I'm not aware of any change but it's possible they could be A/B testing something.

In terms of buffering that is a long standing issue and no changes that I'm aware of. For the status of that see https://github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions/blob/master/issues.md#freezing--buffering--repeating-segments--audio-desyncs and #492 (tl;dr is that I'm not actively watching Twitch so someone else will need to investigate and improve the buffering mitigation code).

Getting ads with both the vaft and video-swap-new userscripts

@symphonyalpha the scripts are incompatible with Greasemonkey. I need to add that to the docs somewhere. Other userscript managers work such as Violentmonkey and Tampermonkey.
