Support gemini flash 2.5 ?

Google gemini flash 2.5 is now more free... more tokens, more requests per day.

Can plandex work with it ? or does plandex need something extra like an AI agent in a web server/cloud/web link ? or can it function without.

Because so far I keep running into AI agent limtations (limits per day, tokens/api/chat requests etc).

Can plandex by-pass these AI agent limitations ? Is plandex an AI agent by itself ? or does it re-route it's chats to a "real" AI agent ???

As of 2.2.0, you can now use credentials for either Google AI Studio or Google Vertex AI directly, so if you have credits or free requests connected to either, you should be able to use them with Plandex.

I'm going to also be investigating other free options, like Gemini CLI, to see if Plandex can also integrate with it to piggyback on free requests—will report back.
