ST just launched the STM32C5 series this month. I’ve picked up the new NUCLEO-C542RC board, but it isn’t recognized by the stm32 platform yet.
Since these are positioned as the next big low-cost option (similar to the C0 and G0), they’re likely going to be very popular for budget-conscious projects. It would be great to get native support in PlatformIO so we can start moving projects over to this hardware.
Requested Support
Board: NUCLEO-C542RC
Core: ARM Cortex-M33 (This series uses the M33 core, distinguishing it from the M0+ C0/G0 series)
Frameworks: STM32Cube and Arduino
Early support for this would be a huge help for those of us early adopters. Thanks!
