Zustand documentation website is extremely slow and unresponsive in Google Chrome – causes browser/system hangs

Description
I’ve noticed that the Zustand documentation website (https://zustand-demo.pmnd.rs/) exhibits severe performance issues in Chrome, both now and in the past. These issues include:

• Extremely slow load times
• Unresponsive UI, even after the site is loaded
• Freezing or hanging of the entire browser tab
• Significant CPU usage that temporarily freezes the whole laptop/system

I clearly remember that the site used to be very responsive a year ago — animations ran smoothly in Chrome back then. This issue appears to affect only the home page, not the actual documentation content.

Environment

• Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit)
• Browser: Chrome 137 (latest), also tested on Firefox and Edge
• Hardware: 16GB RAM, SSD, Intel i5 12th gen
• Network: Stable fiber connection

Website works the smoothest in Firefox, in Edge there some noticeable delays in animations but manageable, only in Chrome it is behaving weirdly and freezes the browser.

Additional Notes

• This issue has persisted for several months, indicating it may be related to the frontend stack used or heavy runtime components.
• I understand that this is not related to the Zustand library itself, which works perfectly. However, the developer onboarding experience suffers due to the unusable documentation site.
