I am fine with any of the names above. Some other suggestions:
The cncf- prefix keep it short and hopefully clarify that we won't add repositories that are not part of the CNCF move. |

Should we go a few more days accepting suggestions, then do a poll of maintainers & core maintainers to decide which to use? |

Let's have a final vote here. I'll add a message in this thread for each proposed name that got significant support. We can vote with the thumbs-up emoji on each message. |

As part of the CNCF requirements we should move our CNCF projects repositories to its own github organisation. At present this will be podman, buildah, skopeo however we also have plans to add some more subprojects as well under the official Podman Container Tools CNCF project, see https://github.com/containers/podman/blob/main/GOVERNANCE.md#adding-subprojects
At present we created a new org called podman-io, this was created as temporary space to test out the CNCF CI infra but the name was not officially voted or approved by core maintainers.
Since cirrus CI is going away on June 1st we will need to move our CI infra and we would like to use the CNCF infra so the org move most be completed by then, more info about the CI situation is tracked here #28525.
As such I like to ask all core maintainers to either agree on the
podman-ioname or suggest alternatives.cc @baude @nalind @mheon @giuseppe @mtrmac @containers/podman-maintainers
