UI does not respond to the mouse pointer on android

I launched the demo_android in the Android Studio emulator and tried to control the interface with a mouse pointer, but the interface did not react. The application redraws the interface properly on screen rotation.
I then ran the demo_android on a Samsung S20FE, connected a Bluetooth mouse to it. There was no reaction when I clicked the mouse button on the interface of the app; however, I can control it well with my finger.

Could you share your Android Studio configuration? I was never able to run egui stack on the emulator.

I built on windows, using latest ndk (installed from android studio)

java is 19.0.2 (it is Amazon Corretto, downloaded via Android Studio)

Actually, I don't fully understand how it happened that the gui started running on android, but I want to believe that it's all about the java version.
