Updates and maintenance?

Hi,

The last commit on the main branch dates 6 years. There are also lots of unresolved issues and pull requests. Are there any plans to keep this project alive and up to date? If not, are there forks using the latest frameworks that that existing users should be redirected to?

I’d like to get back into these—even have another theme idea to share at some point—but dealing with Ruby is kind of annoying these days. 😆 I’ll circle back around at some point, maybe after the next Bootstrap release is finished.

That sounds great! I agree that Ruby is annoying, which is why I was hoping someone familiar with it would update it and resolve dependency issues 😄

Another guy has created an updated version of this theme and called it Hydeout.

Let me introduce a theme that imitates the Hyde design: Hydure, which is also a two-column layout. It is based on the Pure.css framework. At least for now, it will be more active than Hyde.
