After an update a few months ago the applet on the top panel doesn't show the default speakers and microphone output even thought I have different defaults which work, the applet defaults to whatever is the first in Pipewire audio devices (ex. HDMI/Display Port - Output and Stereo Microphone). This issue has been partially fixed since now I can choose from the applet my defaults and it will display the correct volume but it will remain frozen even if I change the volume, and it will also default back to the original audio devices once i close the applet. This issue is also consistent in the settings menu. My Pipewire/Wireplumber/Pipewire-Pusle stack doesn't appear to be the issue from many tests I've done it doesn't show any problems because the defaults there in CLI and pavucontrol are correct
