Open recent file shows files recently opened, but not files recently saved

Steps to recreate:

1. Open a new file.
2. Save it.
3. Close COSMIC Edit.
4. Re-open COSMIC Edit.
5. Go to File -> Open recent file.

Expected behavior: The file I just saved would be listed as a recent file.

Actual behavior: The file's not added to recent files until I open it manually at least once.
