I, too, am looking for this, but there is no way to do this directly in Cosmic at this point, from what I have seen. In my case, I have a nix function that writes web wrappers to make sites into a desktop app. But the Alt-Tab icons are broken if the class name does not match. |

Good day,
With Cosmic Epoch, is there any command that can be run from terminal to fetch active window titles? and/or window title and class
a gdbus command perhaps or utility/app that would accomplish this?
With Gnome w/ Wayland, one can use gdbus commands to accomplish this via the gnome-shell.

Also, is there a command to fetch the currently focused window's title?
Thanks!
Shawn
