An editor for those could be developed in libcosmic and wouldn't necessarily need to be a first-party project. It looks like Alacarte and MenuLibre both function to some extent in COSMIC, but have some broken functionality. I'm not sure if that's because COSMIC isn't handling all of the possible .desktop attributes properly, or because they're confused about what to do when running under COSMIC. If you want to edit your shortcuts manually, they're generally located in See also this existing feature request: pop-os/cosmic-app-library#270 |

It'd help a lot if System76 created a menu editor for Pop!_OS and COSMIC.
Be nice to edit names of apps and hide them. This is present in other OSes.
Alacarte, Menu Libre, etc. Why not in COSMIC? Hope this can happen soon.
