Description
I upgraded yesterday from 22.04 LTS without any issues. I'm having the same issue on System 76 Bonobo WS bonw13 with GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Mobile (using NVIDIA Driver version: 580.82.09 NVML Ver.: 13.580.82.09) attached to an external monitor, so dual monitor setup. Additional information: I have my keyboard and mouse connected to my monitor via USB and my monitor connected to my laptop via USB and HDMI.
It locked up 4 times where I had to hard reboot by pressing power button (not something I like to do).
Before writing this message it kinda locked up after modifying the resolution/scale/additional scale options so my my main monitor (Dell S3220DGF) was similar to the laptop monitor. I say kinda cause, i could use my mouse and keyboard but any time I tried to click on a menu (or window), the focus would be lost, not allowing me to select a menu option or even type into the terminal window. Instead of hard boot, I disconnected the hdmi and my keyboard usb and re-attached, this only made my mouse work, but at least I was able to reboot afterwards.
Typically when I have had a lock up issue (pop os 22.04 using x11), I would activate a virtual terminal (via ctrl+alt+F2, F3 or F4), and then go back to my original login via ctrl+alt+F1. BUT of course my keyboard wasn't working and mouse cursor moves but can't click anything.
I'm attaching a screen shot of Important log messages (Screenshot_2025-12-13_13-30-15.png). When taking the screenshot, I thought computer locked up but it took over seconds to save the file.
I hope this information is help in resolving this issue, cause it's making my laptop (which is my main driver) unusable.

Is there a workaround when my system locks up, so I don't have to manual hard boot?
