Kernel issue with 6.17.9-76061709-generic, works with 6.17.4-76061704-generic

Hi,

on my specific hardware (tuxedo, I would like a system76 but not delivered with my keyboard layout :) )everything used to work fine.

Since update to 6.17.9-76061709-generic, the 'drivers' responsible for fan control and cpu temperatures fail.

I can post here the output but these are totally not-pop related sofwtare, maybe it may give info as to what may be failing

With 6.17.4-76061704-generic I did not have these issues and fan control worked etc.

So, I'll reach tuxedo too (and they'll tell me this distrib is not supported :) ), but just in case, maybe someone at system76 will know what may be wrong with this last kernel update ? Or at least know what may have changed ?

From what I see on the tuxedo side, it relates to a "TuxedoIOAPI" failing, so, IO-related changes in the kernel maybe ?)

Tuxedo would have a better idea if there's any known issues with the 6.17.9 kernel.

Yep, I'm checking with them, as said this was just 'in case an obvious difference' in the build was known. Leaving open for now for the records until I get an answer from tuxedo.
