Unusual tabs and bookmarks issues with firefox on initial launch after start up

Have had a number of events where i start up firefox from the launcher bar and it can't connect to anything and all bookmarks are gone. closing and re-opening usually fixes it. But it can get a little hairy if it opens from a previous session as well. Sometimes my tabs start layering on top of each other and the plus icon for a new tab disappears.
Never seen this issue before with 22.04

Additional info:
My bookmarks are disappearing from firefox not just on first starts, but now also when the screen successfully comes back from auto power off.

From my other reported issues however, the screen doesn't always come back from auto power off.
