Printer discovery re-adds printers that are removed

We may want to allow the user to remove a printer that's added which they don't want listed as an available printer option. Currently, when removing a printer that was added through printer discovery, printer discovery will automatically re-add that printer again.

I have this issue as well.
Pop!_OS 20.04, with Gnome 3.36.1, cups 2.3.1-9ubuntu1.1. Printer is a Samsung M2830dw. Issue started after upgrading Pop!_OS.

Same problem here and even worse, the printer in question (Xerox ColorQube 8570DN) entirely locks up every-time this annoying PopOS feature attempts to perform any action with it! I need to disconnect ethernet from my computer in order to avoid this annoyong PopOS feature that will most likely finish by permanently breaking the printer!!!

Please do something asap.
