GDM & GNOME elements abnormally scaled

I've noticed on an oryp2 that GDM and GNOME Shell's elements are always scaled to 200% by default. Tweaking the font scale in Tweak Tool or toggling the "Large Text" accessibility feature corrects the issue in GNOME Shell for that session, although it resets back to 200% on the next login.

I can confirm this issue. On a 1080p screen the shell is scaled to 200%. I can change it to 100% but on next login it is 200% again.
Changing gsettings set com.system76.hidpi enable false solves the issue. My suggestion is that the hidpi detection would not consider 1080p as hidpi.
