I'm using a rednet cable to pass a signal from a lever to an iron door. The cable is set to strong signal and connected to the block above the iron door and a lever on the other end 5 blocks away.
I can open the door with the lever in this configuration but when i turn off the lever the door remains open.
I can break the block above the door but the door remains open.
I can break all of the rednet cabling excluding the one that was nearest the door (connected to the block above the door) and the door with remain open.
Breaking the last piece of cable causes the door to close.
I can make this configuration work fine with vanilla minecraft redstone mechanics.
I've reproduced this in FTB Infinity and Agrarian skies 2.
