Only one type of ESC works at a time on Ubuntu 25.10 with GNOME

Problem details:
On Ubuntu 25.10 with GNOME (latest), osu! Lazer distinguishes two ESC inputs: ESC and Super ESC. At any given moment, only one of them works. Interestingly, the active ESC type switches when changing window focus using GNOME overview or Alt+Tab. This makes exiting menus, pausing gameplay, or closing dialogs inconsistent and unpredictable.

I'm not sure what "super escape" is but it sounds like something we may not support.

@peppy it’s just very strange.
This issue appeared after a recent osu! update.
The problem can be seen in the video.

Sounds like a change SDL side, in that case..
