Cannot load any predefined complex modifications

I am using a M4 Macbook pro under MacOS 15.7.1 at home (attached to a Caldigit Ts4 dock which has a Logi K950 keyboard attached) and a Windows laptop at work. I am conditioned over decades on Windows shortcuts and would like to use them on Mac. Enter Karabiner Elements. Luckily, there is a pre-definded complex modification called "Windows shortcuts on Mac OS". After clicking "add predefined rule", selecting "Windows shortcuts on Mac OS" and then "import" takes me to a window that lists all the shortcuts in the predefined modification. I click on the blue "Import" button at the bottom (see screenshot 1). I then get a window that always has the same three examples in it that I can enable. I also get the same 3 examples, no matter what I select from the selection of complex rules at https://ke-complex-modifications.pqrs.org. What am I doing wrong? I tried on a friend's Macbook Air and there I get the same modifications that I saw under "Windows shortcuts on Mac OS" and can enable them individually just as I would like to on my machine. What am I doing wrong on my Macbook Pro?

I found out the solution (for me anyway). It's lack of access rights on '~/.config/karabiner/assets/complex_modifications'. I was able to solve it by opening terminal and entering 'sudo chown -R [your-username] ~/.config'. [your-username] needs to be replaced by your 'unix style user name'. It's either part of your commend prompt ([your-username]@machine) or you can enter 'logname' in terminal to get it. So if your user name is Zpzuo, you enter 'sudo chown -R Zpzuo ~/.config'

Since then it works for me. Hope it helps you.
