Renaming default environment #3557
-
Hey! I just wanted to ask if there is a possibility to rename the default environment from The reason for this is that I'd rather have the project's name written in my prompt than I tried to rename Is there a possibility to do this is or creating a new environment the only way? |

I think this has to do with your shell. I'm using starship and When I use a non-default env, I get What shell are you using and how is it configuring the prompt? |

I think this has to do with your shell. I'm using starship and
pixi shell
displays the project name rather than justdefault
. Looking at the source, it uses theCONDA_DEFAULT_ENV
env variable. See:https://pixi.sh/latest/reference/environment_variables/#environment-variables-set-by-pixi
When I use a non-default env, I get
<project_name>:<env_name>
.What shell are you using and how is it configuring the prompt?
