Infinite hangup on pixi global install --channel conda-forge --force-reinstall git

@wolfv I am on Windows. I believe the infinite hangup is related to #3418. There were some broken links, it got resolved and worked. On recent version it just gets stuck

If I let it run for 5 minutes. it eventually finalizes. So there is some slowness or timeout involved after which it continues successfully.

After I run it now again, it was much faster. So maybe some caching already happened after successful run. With previous versions there was never this delay.

I would expect to get some kind of output when pixi is doing things. Could you try with -vv to see if internally it does things? As we would expect a progress bar.

Could it be that you set the no-progress flag in some way?

It doesn't show what it is doing even with -vv, it just hangs on installing for several minutes.
