error QAP installation

Hi,

I am obtaining an error while installing the QAP protocol, specifically I get the following when I run it on the terminal:

NameError: name 'version' is not defined

Command "python setup.py egg_info" failed with error code 1 in /private/var/folders/tm/gbvs44cs5rzb_hjjgvxmgnmc0000gn/T/pip-build-_hotzprs/qap/

Can someone please advise?
