Hi,

I could not reproduce the problem using the source code in GitHub  ScalaMl repository.  The only two possible reasons for this error are- private val logger = Logger.getLogger("XTSeries") is missing from object XTSeries it should be the first declaration in the object)- The Logger class is not loaded because the import declaration on the top of the file, 'import org.apache.log4j.Logger''  is missing
