My new 19-inch rack with Minidexed

As Minidexed is really a beautiful instrument in its own right, i wanted to make it justice and put it into a 19-inch rack with a custom front. Journey started in May and one after another, all parts started to drop in, plus the front panel itself. Had to modify the rack-case slightly with a Dremel ensure that there was space between it and the LCD (still need to shave off a few mm fron the top as well to have it perfect).

Still waiting for the panel mounted SD extender. I thought i could share a few images of the final assembly here :)

Oh, and surprisingly, everything worked when i powered it on. No fire or smoke. Even the volume potentiometer works 100%.

Looks very nice and clean craigyjp indeed :) I love the your implementation of showing midi-activity and having the USB exposed also (in retrospect, i probably would have followed your lead on this.). Goodie :)

Kirtai, three rPIs, top one is a 5 with IQAudio DAC+ where i run Zynthian (https://zynthian.com/), second one is a 4 that used to be my main Zynthian board, that nowadays runs PiMiga (https://cubiclenate.com/pimiga/) for retro-gaming needs, the the bottom one is my old (SSD-enhanced) docker rPI 4 that got replaced by a rPI5/nvme unit, so its collecting dust more or less now)

Oh, just do it Kirtai. Its absolutely amazing. With all of its great sounding engines, it nowadays has Virus KC, TI, Waldorf, etc as well. Its absolutely fantastic :)
