0.2.5.17 memory leak on windows

There is a memory leak in the 0.2.5.17 released binaries only on the windows platform.

Is it possible there isnt only a memory leak on the windows binaries? During the initial sync on my RPi i have had multiple segmentation faults causing the daemon to stop. After the initial sync it hasnt happened again (running for 72+ hours atm). Someone reported a similar problem with the Linux version aswell on discord.

It is possible. We are going to run a memory profiler on a few nodes and see what it says is being leaked. hopefully that sheds some light on the issue.

just an update: I ran a memory profiler for a few days (starting from scratch) and it detected a leak of less than 5KB. We are going to try some other methods to detect a leak
