RPC lock up during initial sync

@HenryYoung42 and myself are able to replicate when in full node sync RPC locks up and returns a 500 error while the debug log continues to receive print messages from the daemon stating an updated tip

I think the 500 is a client RPC error code ? Eccoind in RPC client mode simply hangs with no response. Perhaps that needs also to be fixed to return the 500 code ?

it does return 500 for me

Alway seeing the following during initial sync:
Binding RPC on address ::1 port 19119 failed.

So something is causing the RPC client to crash.

yep this bug only seems to happen in the latest daemon too
