Packet Routing Suggestion

Instead of using get buffer to receive packets, could a smarter way of handling this be pop buffer?
This way the buffer is cleared and packets are retrieved in a FIFO style from RPC

"getpacket" makes more sense because (1) pop is normally associated with stacks which are LIFO and (2) the buffer contains multiple packets, but you want the oldest packet not yet get'ed (gotten?). I agree this would be a good way for the client app to tell the daemon to clear down the storage associated with the packet. This could also be protected by the token mechanism previously discussed on Wire.
