Me and my mate have teamdamage disabled, because of the sometimes occuring miscommunication :D - but figured, it takes away too much of the pressure and it could be nice, to have a middleground.
An Idea would to setup a damage multiplier (simplest i guess), to do LESS damage and/or cap the given damage, so you still could do vanilla damage, but don't kill eachother (if a bot does the last tiny amount of damage at the same time - unlucky). Also it could be interesting to limit/disable like grenade- and/or headshot-damage seperately. (most complicated, i guess, but also an idea would be to use something like "headshot-redirect" mod on teamdamage)
The other idea depends on how the session is setup in the background, if it is too complicated, to implement - it would be nice, to start a session solo and you have a setting, which dis-/allows other players to join (not REjoin) mid-session. Which would be nice, for deaths, but still lowering the downtimes. So you could already start the next raid, when you died, but your mate can continue, but join you raid straight afterwards.
