Hi, first of all, I'd like to congratulate the team for how well put Dakotaraptor is for an alpha.
With that said, I would like to report a couple problems I hit when trying to install it + what I've noticed ~1 hour in:
- The installer does nothing when selecting "manual partitioning"
- The installer requires an internet connection, but does not warn so, instead failing with a log once installation begins, though this is my fault for forgetting to connect to Wi-Fi, I think a warning would be a good idea before starting installation, or maybe hard-blocking like Calamares on some configurations?
- The password prompt for disk encryption does not follow the keyboard layout
- The EFI partition is not mounted with the system, though I assume this is intentional?
- I have an external partition I want to mount, I added it to
/etc/fstab to mount to a directory under /var, but due to how empty fstab is, I wonder if this is not the correct way I should be doing things?
The ISO I used was downloaded May 15th 2:46pm UTC, if that helps.
