How to use center of nodes as position?

When setting position and using the zoomtofitnodes feature, I think the "position" of the node is the top left of its bounding box. Because my nodes are circles, is there a way to change it to the center of the circle? Thank you!

Hmm maybe you can override setPosition on your node's model... but I'm not sure if that would cause any undesired side effects.
