Re-Creating RamMap/ Memory Composition

Problem Statement

Hi,

I have been trying to create a stacked graph of the memory composition something similar to what RamMap from Sysinternals shows. However I'm getting caught up on which memory counters to use to obtain this. Any guidance would be lovely

• windows_exporter Version: 0.30.4
• Windows Server Version: Server 2016 10.0.14393

In general, all counter ending with bytes (https://github.com/prometheus-community/windows_exporter/blob/master/docs/collector.memory.md) may eligible for such an graph. But do not have deep guidance here.

Thanks, I had started with those but had trouble selecting the correct ones to end up with the sum of all being correct. I have ordered Microsofts SysInternals book too learn more about memory both physical and virtual and hopefully figure this out. If i do find a solution I'll post it here.

Note that values from performance counter are always bitter different that real values, since flatten values a little.

Yea i understand they would be flatten a little, but I wouldn't expect them to be off by ~GBs? I likely still need to learn some more. But curious when using all the ones ending in bytes are there any that include others. For example is windows_memory_system_code_resident_bytes also included in windows_memory_system_code_total_bytes?
