Downloaded the https://github.com/prometheus/alertmanager/releases/download/v0.25.0/alertmanager-web-ui-0.25.0.tar.gz release artefact and added the whole content to the UI folder given to the /usr/share/prometheus/alertmanager/ui/ folder

What did you expect to see?

Working alertmanager web UI

What did you see instead? Under which circumstances?

Missing lib folder (font-awesome, bootstrap, elm-datepicker), so error on web UI

I guess the problem is here: https://github.com/prometheus/alertmanager/blob/main/scripts/package_assets.sh#L9

Maybe the
tar czf .tarballs/alertmanager-web-ui-${version}.tar.gz ui/app/script.js ui/app/index.html
should be
tar czf .tarballs/alertmanager-web-ui-${version}.tar.gz ui/app/script.js ui/app/index.html ui/app/lib
