Does Pushgateway Support Pushing Histogram Metrics?

Hi Pushgateway Team,

I have a Golang CronJob that collects metrics and pushes them to the Pushgateway. I wanted to confirm whether the Pushgateway supports histogram metrics, as I couldn't find a clear answer in the documentation.

Context:

• We are trying to push histogram metrics (e.g., request duration) from our CronJob.
• We understand that counters work fine with the Pushgateway, but it's unclear whether histograms are supported.

Classic histograms are fully supported.

Native histograms are supported if you push via the protobuf format. (That's because we haven't finalized the specification of the text format for native histograms yet.)
