Deletion of uploaded photos does not occur while device is locked

The automatic deletion of uploaded photos option is not offered if the device is locked when the upload process completes. Consider offering this option at the start of the upload process rather than at the end so we can be sure there is always a user present.

Is there a way it can sustain when refocusing the app, or alert through the lock? I was trying to upload specifically so I can delete the photos and free up space.

I suppose new upload queue would help with that but it feels disjointed.

Perhaps a “yo queue is done and you got some stuff to delete” icon could be there regardless of the alert?
