I would like to ask to bump to the latest version 4.5.5 (2 years old) of System.Memory.

~8 months later, and no one of the team managed to change a 3 to a 5.
So yeah, it can be resolved and IMHO should be, but team seems occupied to make that massive (sarkasm) change.
