  • PDF upload triggers FileToWeb conversion.

  • The admin reviews/edits it in WordPress.
  • Once approved/published, public links to the original PDF can point to the new WordPress page/content.

Thanks Curtis. We addressed the P1 items in FileToWeb-owned plugin tags rather than sending another ProudCity PR.

Core plugin:

• FileToWeb/filetoweb-integration tag 0.1.7
• Adds the widget-disable filter.
• Hardens the URL/PDF fetch path against SSRF-style cases.
• Keeps the current upload/sync/poll/retry behavior.
• Makes file-processing status more visible in admin.
• Adds the hook that lets an approved native WordPress page override the FileToWeb HTML URL.

Native publishing add-on:

• FileToWeb/filetoweb-native-wordpress-publisher tag 0.1.4
• Creates/updates an editable WordPress/SiteOrigin draft from a ready FileToWeb document.
• Imports remote media assets into WordPress when possible.
• Requires explicit publish/approval before public links move to the native WordPress page.
• Until that approval happens, ready PDF links continue to point to the FileToWeb HTML version.

I also deployed both to the ProudCity demo stack and verified the end-to-end flow there: upload/sync, idempotent FileToWeb conversion, ready HTML, native draft generation, approval, and public link replacement.

@FileToWeb yeah I looked but we didn't create proper issues for this on your repository where we can discuss each item and validate it. That just makes it harder for me and thus something I'm going to get to slower.

I'll create some issues based on my list so we can deal with them individually and not loose items in a long list of 12 things that should be done.
