Describe the bug

We are creating a job application form. We created two form fields to upload supporting documents. When we click on the link to open them in the form entries page, we get the following error "Not Found. Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist."

Resolution

Root cause: Gravity Forms 2.10 (rolled out in #2814) standardized the File Upload field storageType so single-file fields are now stored as a JSON array with escaped forward slashes. The wp-stateless-gravity-forms-addon (last updated against GF 2.9.16.1) only json_decode'd when $field->multipleFiles was true, so for single-file fields the JSON-escaped value bypassed the strpos('gravity_forms/') check, the GCS sync was never fired, and the entry meta kept the local wp-content/uploads/... URL — producing the 404 on the Entries "view file" link.

Fix: forked the upstream plugin to proudcity/wp-stateless-gravity-forms-addon and patched it to detect the storage shape from the actual value (JSON array vs raw string) rather than from $field->multipleFiles, re-encoding in the original shape so older GF installs are unaffected. Also fixed a latent modify_db() bug where the JSON branch re-encoded the original value instead of the rewritten one. Bumped to 0.0.4.

• Validated on Montgomery via the staging build.
