Delamination of raft layers on default profiles from the slicer. SL1S with Ameralabs tgm7.

Description of the bug

I was struggling with consistent failures of my prints. Attaching images of multiple tries.

It was always peeling a layer off the ones stuck to base plate, always in same direction, and always around 10-15 layer in.

It was all done on the default slicer profile for amera labs resin.

Solution.
The raft is set in a way that the fade layers start whiel raft is still multiple layers until finished. This causes exposure to be to low for the surface area to adhere to the layers before it, causing a peel at the edge away from tilt pivot where the force is strongest.

The solution is to reduce the height of the raft, and make sure the fade starts after the raft is completed.

Here are my proposed settings for the default profile.

Thanks for reporting this.
My first thought is that this is probably not an issue with the print settings, as they are thoroughly tested and have been working very well for us and our users so far. If you can, please try a different resin manufacturer or even a different printer and check if the default settings are still causing the same issue.

Other than that, this would rather be a case for our tech support. Feel free to propose this to them and perhaps we can try to reproduce this on an SL1S using your 3MF.

Hi. Thank you for your reply. I have fixed this issue by changing the settings in the slicer, and they are 100% repro issues with default configuration profiles for both SL1S and Ameralabs TGM7 Resin combo - must have somehow got missed in your tests, but was 100% failure for me.

Making the changes that i posted in the screenshots gave me so far 100% success rate with the same model.

Let me explain. Your default settings for material are 0.025 initial layer height, raft at 1 mm and the fade layers at 10 which causes fade to start when raft is still being created, which causes under exposure of the raft layers at around layer 11. At around layer 15 it's at 1,8 exposure already but the surface area is still same as rest of the raft and tilting mechanisms peals it off the raft causing a fail. Every time, at around layer 15. Like a clock work. Took me 3 days to figure it out, talking with 3 different Pruse reps and no one had a solution for it. It works great with just 4 layers for the pad, and then 3 layers of fade after that. Same model that was failing every time now printed perfectly twice in a row.

You dont need the pad to be this thin, but you need to ensure that the fade does not start while raft is built, which is what's happening now. Thanks.

Im having delimitation with the same resin (Ameralabs TGM7) as well. However, in my case delimitation is happening at initial layers when exposure is still high.

Will try to print without fade at all and with reduced raft

Experience with this resin on SL1S has been very frustrating tbh.

I made around 300 prints since this post, and had 0 failures. It's by far the best resin i ever tried, it just needs correct settings. Hope this will help you.
