Custom dowel cutter shape

I use a custom dowel shape and currently have to cut models using other tools. The dowel is proprietary, but can easily be mirrored. Adding the ability to cut the dowel holes with my custom dowel shape would dramatically improve workflow.

Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to be able to load a custom dowel half-shape into the library in a fixed size. When applying dowels, this custom cutout would be aligned and used instead of cylinders or hexagons. Being able to designate the bottom of the dowel would allow for alignment on the cut plane. The dowel should be of fixed size(s).

Describe how it would work
Custom dowel would be an option when inserting connectors. the dowel could be loaded from the shape gallery. When loading, the bottom of the dowel could be selected as with the selection of the planar alignment to the bed (key F).

Describe alternatives you've considered
Presently, this is done by cutting the parts in another tool.

Recent cutting tool updates in 2.6.1 did not address this requirement. Essentially this requires the ability to load a custom dowel hole cutter to enable designers to snap parts together with proprietary dowels or clips.
