Crashing when accessing the creative menu

Minecraft version: 1.21.1
Simple Planes Version: 5.3.7
Mod Loader Version: Neoforge 21.1.217
Here is the crash report, this was a single player world, would there still be a server report too?

My apologies ahead of time if this is a known issue. There were two crashes actually. The first was when i was exploring, and as i flew, it looked like I flew into un rendered chunks and then the game crashed. I was able to reload and my helicopter was in a lake.

So I changed game mode to creative and was going to spawn a new one, but one i click on the Simple Planes Icon, it crashes every time.

I spent some time scratching my head at the error log and it seems the issue is it is trying to render something and can't?

This line is what makes me believe this is the case:

This happens without fail when trying to click the creative icon for the mod. I had never tested if this was an issue before, but My helicopter was made of dark oak, not acacia, so I can't verify at this time (I am posting this and then going to sleep).

I can second that. While trying to experiment with the mod in creative, I get crashes in the menu scrolling down:

Im at work ATM so ill have to get the proper specifics later, but I'm mainly running the Excalibur resource pack and Excalibur add on packs

I removed them at one point and still was able to recreate the crash, ill try to get a list when im home though.

With the mods installed, my MC has those 4 in the following order applied:

1. Moonlight Dynamic Resources (Resources for 2 mods (built-in))
2. Town Talk (Town Talk Resources (built- in))
3. Mod Resources (Resources for 211 mod files)
4. Default (The default look and feel of Minecraft (built-in))

There are some from mods in available, that can be added and removed, but the before mentioned 4 selected packs cannot be removed; only changed in order.

guess, I found it.
I deactivated

• Dynamic Trees 1.6.0-beta03
• Dynamic Trees Plus 1.3.1-neta01
• Dynamic Trees - Biomes O'Plenty 3.4.0
  loaded into creative flat land, opened E, searched for "plane", scrolled down. All fine. Then I only activated the base mode dynamic trees, repeated the steps in the creative menu and it crashed.

As you saw above, I'm running some mods ^^ and non crashed in conjunction with Dynamic Trees (even if MineColonies builder and forester are not chopping the trees, but work from top down to remove them). And as we can see quite some planes while scrolling and only on acacia the crash happens, the other wood seems to work fine. Luckily only the client crashes and not the server as well, and in survival JEI only shows the base planes. But even the Plane Workbench supplied with acacia planks won't crash while showing the 4 previews.

Ok, last test:
Having the creative menu open, searching for " planks", I can see:

• Stripped Dark Oak (Wood and Log)
• (Stripped) Oak Log
• Acacia Log

Oh, this is so strange. I started the game, searched for "branch" (but afaik you cannot get a branch from a dynamic tree. When chopping, it drops sticks and logs) and now I see:

• 5 rows of violette planes, material - block.dynamictrees.stripped_acacia_branch till block.dtbop.stripped_jacaranda_branch. All locking the same, but no crash so far. I can scroll through all pages containing the branch made planes. No crash! Going back to the category scrolling, crash. I think I cannot pinpoint it more precisely.
