PS1 games launched from OPL as an app use POPStarter. POPStarter does not support saving to physical memory cards. |

I missed this important detail when researching popstarter! Thanks for
pointing that out. I guess I don't need to worry about this then.

I have a feature request that would allow PS1 games launched from OPL as an app ELF to trigger a memory card switch on the MemCard Pro 2.
Currently, when PS2 ELFs are launched from OPL, they trigger a write to the History entry, which tells the MemCard Pro 2 to access or partition a new virtual memory card.
My understanding is that this sysLauncherLoadElf is not called for opening apps, so the history entry is never written, and PS1 games are therefore not compatible (assuming the PS1 games are configured as apps).
My question is, would it be possible to write the history entry when launching an app, as is done when launching a PS2 game?
