Redis stopping the server

Hi @namangupta01, the app's server is stopping due to Redis not running locally. So, each developer has to install redis in their system. Can we make it optional or something?

Hey @gauravano, Yup it's necessary to use Redis locally because we are using action cable. And action cable server automatically starts when our rails server starts. But what we can do is that we can configure our Redis server in such a way that it automatically starts running when the system starts. What do you think?

Could we distinguish using development/production? So it only runs in production? Or could we use a config file to set it and default to it being off unless production server settings override the default?
