Deploying cloudflare workersscript with esbuild

Hi, I've been using esbuild to bundle typescript codes into a single file that is passed into content field of the workersscript with pulumi-cloudflare@5.49.0.
However, this approach no longer works with pulumi-cloudflare@6.4.1 as pulumi up now errors with Binding 'DB' of type 'd1' requires a Worker written in ES module format.

Is there a recommended esbuild config that I should use?? Wrangler seems to be using this esbuild and I'm using same esbuild command and getting requires a Worker written in ES module format error.

Is there another recommended way to bundle workersscript content?

FYI, resulting bundled code is below so it is ESM module and I'm not sure why I'm getting requires a Worker written in ES module format. error

Hi @jung-kim it sounds like that error is coming from the Cloudflare API itself, not from the provider. The upstream Cloudflare Terraform Provider, made some significant changes in v6 to how they are invoking the API, so there's certainly a chance that it may have changed how the workersscript gets handled.

My recommendation would be that we try to see if the issue reproduces when trying to create a cloudflare worker with their terraform provider, and if so, file the issue there. The pulumi provider would pick up the fix as soon as it's released in the terraform provider. (Or alternatively, if we can't reproduce it with the terraform provider, we'll know it's something specific to pulumi, but it in this case I think it's unlikely.)
