greenkeeper didnt fire. maybe check for other services that could trigger on tag existance or somehting, and check the rn repo directly.

also, check if travis or gitlab ci or circle or some other ci can push to the project branch, otherwise make a server run this.

I think dependabot might be able to do npm versions? I use it successfully on android projects but haven't set it up on react-native / node things yet as those are on gitlab and dependabot doesn't work with them so I can't test it...

unfortunately no. it updates the deps but it cannot run the new version script. for now this is on hold until either in back from holidays and spend an evening making this, or we move this to be there RN repo's circleci.
