Albedo definition

Regarding the albedo model mentioned in the schema:

I'm wondering if we can help define a schema that permits one or more of the following:

1. time dependence,
2. spatial dependence, and
3. wavelength dependence.

The wavelength dependence could be as simple as using the albedo files contained in SMARTS and a scaling function.

Are there other complexities not considered in this list? Would you be open to a proposal to deal with these? Do you already have some ideas about how to deal with these issues that could be incorporated?

I'd welcome proposals for how to accommodate these data types in the schema for albedo:

• float
• time series
• 2d spatial map of float

I don't know how often wavelength dependence would be used. That assumes that spectral irradiance is on hand for input, which is not common. However, if it's not adding a lot of complexity to the type checking, fine with me.
