Release 0.5.7 needed

Can you create a new package release to PyPI?

In light of the non-breaking nature of these changes, it should probably be a patch version bump to 0.5.7.

sorry about this, I'm a heavy AWS user right now so I am almost only using boto3 for S3 since a few years.

Are you interested in becoming a co maintainer?

I would say that the core values of this project is not to break things within the currently supported Django versions.
