Default template for __main__.py sys.exit() vs SystemExit

The default project template produces a __main__.py with the following:

import sys

if __name__ == '__main__':
    sys.exit(main())

vs

if __name__ == '__main__':
    raise SystemExit(main())

I appreciate these are probably effectively the same but is the second version better (faster?) because it doesn't involve an import of sys?
