Downloading python from mirror servers

Trying to get hatch working in a closed company environment. When it comes to install python versions hatch always reaches out to gitlab to do the downloads. As we have an internal mirror of github.com/indygreg/python-build-standalone/releases I would love to point my builds towards that server.

I played with HATCH_PYTHON_CUSTOM_SOURCE_ as documented but cannot find a way to use only local distributions. Does anyone have a working example on this?

Got it working by setting:

        - export HATCH_PYTHON_CUSTOM_SOURCE_3_12="https://localmirrorserver/indygreg/python-build-standalone/releases/download/20241008/cpython-3.12.7%2B20241008-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-install_only_stripped.tar.gz"
        - export HATCH_PYTHON_CUSTOM_PATH_3_12=python/bin/python3.12
        - export HATCH_PYTHON_CUSTOM_VERSION_3_12=3.12.100

Looks a bit strange though when listing:

hatch python show
