Unable to remove incorrect dependency

Hi,
I just discovered this project and it seems very promising, but I managed to mess up my first project.

I added two dependencies:
dependencies = [ "python-kafka", "pypmu @git+https://github.com/hallvar-h/pypmu"
However, the dependency added using a direct reference is actually the package syncrophasor, consequently the virtual environment could not be created. I tried changing the direct reference to be correct, removing, deleting the virtual environment, and still get the same error. Anyone knows how I can fix this problem?

sorry I forgot to add the output. Here it is:

ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement pypmu (unavailable) (from neweps-coordination-module) (from versions: none) ERROR: No matching distribution found for pypmu (unavailable)

Btw. after rebooting the PC, upgrading Python, and pip everything seems to work correctly.
